Becca L. Scheer (they/them) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Austin, TX. Working with folks at all stages of their therapeutic journey, Becca strives to support you in deepening your self-awareness in a safe and affirming setting. Becca is a trained therapist in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy, and EMDR. They work with adults at all stages of life, and walk with you to help overcome anxiety, depression, or other mood challenges. They are passionate to provide a welcoming and affirming space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. For the first several sessions, we will focus on evaluating your needs, answering any questions you may have about the therapy process, and establishing the goals you would like to work toward. If I feel like you could be better assisted by another professional, I will provide you with appropriate referrals.
